Uche Nwosu Approves fund for the Nwadikes

 Uche Nwosu👇

Last weekend in Owerri, I hosted the family of our friend and late gospel singer, Evang. Chinedu Nwadike, who was an active member of the Rescue Mission Family.

In this era when the economies of countries around the world is struggling, you can imagine how difficult it is to raise three Children left behind by our dear brother.

Therefore, under the “U-Fund for Women” program of the Ugwumba Leadership Center, I have approved the release of some funds to enable her establish a business in Owerri, Imo State.

I'm sure this support will go a long way in taking care of the kids and other needs. To God be the glory!

Nollywood actor reacts - Fabian Adibe

My Wife Was Sacked Because She's Not From Enugu, Despite Being An Igbo Woman From Abia - Veteran Actor, Fabian Adibe Reacts

You will appreciate what Tinubu did in Lagos by making Igbo people commissioners if you hear the story of how an Igbo woman from Abia state was sacked in Enugu state civil service all because she is not from the state.

Nigerian veteran actor, Fabian Adibe, has said that Nollywood is no longer the way it was before. He said that getting a role in movies back then was not based on tribalism and nepotism. He said that things were a lot easier in the past, because all of them acted together then irrespective of where they came from.

In the report which was made by The Cable, the actor revealed that his wife was sacked from work in Enugu because she's not from the state, even though she's an Igbo woman who was also married to a man that was born in Imo. He said that such a thing would not have happened back then, because tribalism didn't have a place in Nigeria then.

He said - "My wife was sacked in 1997 because she was a non-indigene in Enugu, despite being an Igbo woman from Abia State, married to an Imo State-born man. Back in our days, this wouldn't have happened. Nigeria was one then."

Fabian was one of the popular names in Nollywood back in the days, and dominated the movie scene for nearly four decades, but he left the industry about twelve years ago. In an interview a few months ago, he revealed that he left the industry after they introduced what he referred to as "packaging." And that it was a situation where he would be given three scripts to act, then he would be paid for two of the scripts, while the third one would be done for free. He said that he didn't want to be part of such an arrangement that's why he stopped acting.

Pastor arrested for defiling a 12year old

Pastor arrested for defiling and impregnating the 12-year-old daughter of his church member who went to him for deliverance

A 48-year-old Pastor of "The Light House Gospel Church" Oluwo, Owode Egba, Pastor Michael Abiodun, has been arrested by men of Ogun state Police Command for allegedly defiling and impregnating the 12-year-old daughter of a member of his church.

It is reported that the suspect was arrested following information received at Owode Egba divisional headquarters that, the victim's mother joined the church as a result of a spiritual problem that led to the de@th of two of her daughters.

In order to prevent the victim from the same calamity, she ran to the church for deliverance. On a fateful day, the Pastor who is a father-of-three asked the victim's mother to send her to him for special prayers, but on getting there, the Pastor took her into a room within the church and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her which resulted in pregnancy.

Upon the information, the DPO Owode Egba division, CSP Olasunkanmi Popoola, detailed his detectives to the scene where the randy Pastor was promptly arrested. On interrogation, he confessed to the crime but blamed it on the devil. He further confessed to being the one that disvirgined the victim, a JSS 2 student.

The mother of the victim explained to the police that she didn't know her daughter was pregnant until seven months after. The victim, who was delivered of a baby three months ago informed the police that she was threatened by the Pastor with a dire consequence if she informed anybody about what had transpired between them, and that was the reason she didn't tell her mother.
