An Average child born and breed in one of the countries in the world was born with a particular language sang into his/her ear either directly or indirectly.
When a child is born he comes as a blank slate some say he was born with knowledge but he won't really show them until he's been thought one or two things. The very first language is heard and made on his own,no one has to teach him what to say and what not to.
BABBLING - the point when a child uses sounds to qualify the message he wants to pass across no water how big what he means is : "Tata" This may mean "I want to drink water" His mother understands "tata" already and has given him water. We call this the babbling or cooing me stage of a child. This stage ranges from 0 - 12 months
"baaah" "taah" are sounds a child can make during this stage and many more.
Do not fail to acknowledge that this sounds are meaningless because they are not known but they are painful because that growing baby has been able to convey a message of either pain or excitement to the guidance at that point in time.
STAGES OF BABBLING
Babbling is a delicate stage in a child's life that shouldn't be neglated, every child should go through this stage and be on watch to ascertain the growth and development of the child. The stages occurs in order and if you observe your child is lagging behind you should call the attention of your pediatrician or a predatric speech-language pathologist can offer guidance.

He also trying to imitate the sound of objects,The child learns how to nod his head in agreement or disagreement even when he can't relate the which for which. Both yes and No might have the same nod.
Month 10 - 11
The child starts to speak jargons by using complex babbling words to relate with his environment and people around him, like "baba le ma ball e mi " Yes it's meaningless to you but it has a unique meaning to the child because he's trying to convey a message,This are jargons which enables him imitate rhymes, facial expressions, gestures etc.

NOTE: Parents and guidances should learn to encourage babbling especially by responding to the child so as to enhance growth and improvement in speech production that's why research has shown that babies with older siblings learns and speaks faster than first babies because they have someone to always play with, listen and respond to them while they talk.
