The Baby Language Milestone

An Average child born and breed in one of the countries in the world was born with a particular language sang into his/her ear either directly or indirectly.

When a child is born he comes as a blank slate some say he was born with knowledge but he won't really show them until he's been thought one or two things. The very first language is heard and made on his own,no one has to teach him what to say and what not to.

BABBLING - the point when a child uses sounds to qualify the message he wants to pass across no water how big what he means is : "Tata" This may mean "I want to drink water" His mother understands "tata" already and has given him water. We call this the babbling or cooing me stage of a child. This stage ranges from 0 - 12 months

"baaah" "taah" are sounds a child can make during this stage and many more.

Do not fail to acknowledge that this sounds are meaningless because they are not known but they are painful because that growing baby has been able to convey a message of either pain or excitement to the guidance at that point in time.

STAGES OF BABBLING

Babbling is a delicate stage in a child's life that shouldn't be neglated, every child should go through this stage and be on watch to ascertain the growth and development of the child. The stages occurs in order and if you observe your child is lagging behind you should call the attention of your pediatrician or a predatric speech-language pathologist can offer guidance.

Month 0 - 2

Cries and coos. During this stage the baby can only convey messages to his guidance by crying when his uncomfortable and hungry.gurgles, coos and sighs are the means of communication.

Month 3 - 4

The child begins to learn. How to control his tongues and lips giving signs of "I'm talking to you mom" The child start to notice in one word like "loo" he notices when a sound is made stares at objects as if he wants to talk to them and notices eye contact and simple imitation of sounds.

Month 5

This is the child's first babble, also known as the single babble stage,it begins with a single-syllable speech sounds like la,ma,ga,pa,etc.
At this stage life gets noisy as he growls, raspberries, yells and squeals as your baby experiments volume, pitch, tensity and tone.

Month 6 - 7

In this stage, the baby reduplicate sounds ,This sounds like ta-ta,ba-ba,la-la,
Your heart may explode when he says ma-ma or pa-pa, mind you he doesn't know the meaning. The meaning will be known to him much later,He will be saying the same syllables over and over again especially when he's given a smile or being mimicked by the mother each time he does that.

Month 8 - 9

The child begins to mix sounds together,It is called the variegated babbling. For instance " ba,de,la"
He also trying to imitate the sound of objects,The child learns how to nod his head in agreement or disagreement even when he can't relate the which for which. Both yes and No might have the same nod.

Month 10 - 11

The child starts to speak jargons by using complex babbling words to relate with his environment and people around him, like "baba le ma ball e mi " Yes it's meaningless to you but it has a unique meaning to the child because he's trying to convey a message,This are jargons which enables him imitate rhymes, facial expressions, gestures etc.

Month 12

At this stage he will have words he uses correctly and continually which he has learnt to use. Real words takes over in this stage

NOTE: Parents and guidances should learn to encourage babbling especially by responding to the child so as to enhance growth and improvement in speech production that's why research has shown that babies with older siblings learns and speaks faster than first babies because they have someone to always play with, listen and respond to them while they talk.

Man Excited As He Boards Plane For The First Time

A man with the username @Chukwumaudeh on Twitter has expressed his excitement as he enters a plane for the first time in his life.

Chukwuma said: “9 years ago, I had just moved into my master's house which was close to Asaba airport.

"I would wash my oga's clothes at the back of the house and watch planes fly past as they descend towards the airport.

"'One day', I kept muttering to myself. That day was today.

"To a regular person, this is quite normal. But to me and millions of people born and raised in the trenches, this is something.

"And it alters ones mindset for good. Last time I came home I spent all day on the road. Arrived 9pm.

"Today, I travelled from Lagos to Asaba in 50 minutes.

"Forgive my excitement, this is the first time this is happening for me and people in my immediate family.

"I believe a jinx of somewhat has been broken today.

"Henceforth, me and my people will be flying like it's nothing. Amen.

"Anyways! Anambra ndi Nwem, your son is home!!”
