Justice Binta Nyako had joking asked the IPOB leader his favorite club and he said according to the News Agency in Nigeria.
She said she has always seen him adorning clothes of different football clubs aside the designer cloth he wore to court.
What is your team? Nyako asked
Kanu who was in the dock said;"my team has always been Liverpool from age Seven.
The development started when Kanu's lawyer Mike Ozekhome SAN,complained that the state security services (SSS) has not allowed them enough time to meet with the IPOB leader.
The judge then reminded the Ozekhome that he once thanked the SSS officials for procuring an orthopeadic mattress,pillow and others for his client.
She went ahead to say she already ordered the security outfit to give Kanu a moderate treatment like food,clothing and medical care while he's in detention.
Nyako turned to Kanu saying despite her orders for him to change his clothes the IPOB leader continued to put on the same Fendi designers' wear.
The judge then told the SSS legal director who was in court to allow Kanu watch Matches of his favorite club.
The SSS official, however said his office has always given him the access to watch television.
