The executive Governor of Lagos state Babajide Sanowo-olu had banned commercial motorcycles popularly called okada in six local governments in Lagos State.
Sanwoolu gave this order on Wednesday while speaking with police divisional Officers and area commandants.
Sanwoolu announced a total ban and asked that it take effects in six local governments in Lagos State,effective from June 1st 2022, The affected local governments are IKEJA, SURULERE, ETI OSA, LAGOS MAINLAND, LAGOS ISLAND and APAPA.
